How Do You Use Jane Iredale Zap & Hide Blemish Concealer?

Apply Zap & Hide Blemish Concealer directly to the blemish. Blend the Blemish Concealer with a camouflage brush or your fingertips.

What is Concealer Used For?

Concealer is used to hide dark circles, as well as blemishes and redness. Concealer is generally similar to foundation however it's usually thicker to offer a fuller coverage.

Should My Concealer Be Lighter or Darker?

It's best to go for a concealer that is lighter than your foundation shade. This helps to lighten dark under-eye circles to cancel out dark discolouration.

Where Do You Apply Concealer?

Apply concealer to blemishes, redness and/or under-eye circles. It can also be used to highlight and sculpt the face. In this instance, apply down the bridge of your nose, above your cheekbones, on the centre of your forehead and in the middle of your chin.

Key ingredients:

Squalane: This is a highly-effective emollient and natural antioxidant. It helps to reduce wrinkles, eliminate scars, reverse UV damage, lighten freckles and erase skin pigmentation, all while fighting free radicals.

Shea Butter: High concentrations of fatty acids and vitamins make shea butter an ideal cosmetic ingredient for softening skin. Shea butter also has anti-inflammatory and healing properties to reflect and absorb UV radiation.

Moringa Oil: This is rich in fatty acids, such as Oleic acid, which is hugely beneficial for restoring the skin's natural barrier to pollution.

Avocado Oil: This contains a high percentage of vitamin E, as well as potassium, lecithin, and many other nutrients which nourish and moisturise the skin.

Mica: This is a diamond pearlescent pigment.

Willow Bark Extract: This soothes irritated skin. It contains salicin, from which salicylic acid is derived, this versatile ingredient is both anti-inflammatory and antibacterial, clearing pores and alleviating acne and irritation.

Green Tea Extract: This has proven anti-inflammatory properties. It also calms the skin after exposure to UV rays, and tones down sunburns and redness.
