Description

Oskia Rest Day Comfort Cream is formulated with nourishing ingredients such as amino acids, probiotics, ceramides, and pro-vitamin D3 to provide the skin with the ultimate comfort and restore the skin's vital barrier functions. The luxurious formula protects the skin against environmental aggressors while promoting a healthy, glowing complexion.

Oskia Rest Day Comfort Cream encourages the skin to rest and recuperate, promoting a healthy microbiome and preventing trans-epidermal water loss. The Bio Mimetic Nutri-Barrier Complex, along with calming ingredients like allantoin and bisabolol, soothes and conditions the skin. Hydrating ingredients like trehalose, polyglutamic acid, oat ceramides, and hyaluronic acid mimic and support the skin's natural moisturizing factor. Spirulina platensis extract and vitamin E provide antioxidant protection.

Oskia Rest Day Comfort Cream is the perfect solution for sensitive, sensitised skin seeking effective relief. This medium weight formula is non-comedogenic and calms, soothes, and strengthens daily. This makes Oskia Rest Day Comfort Cream suitable for all skin types, tones, and ages, especially sensitive and stressed skin. It's ideal for post-treatment, menopausal, or young skin.

The versatile formula can be used both day and night.  pH 5-5.5 (Slightly acid to mimic the skin’s ideal pH and support the Acid Mantle).

Oskia Rest Day Comfort Cream is a nourishing blend of amino acids, probiotics, ceramides, and pro-vitamin D3 that supports and restores the skin's vital barrier functions - the acid mantle, microbiome, and natural moisturising factors.

The skin is made up of several important components that work together to maintain its health and integrity. One of these is the Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF), which is a complex mixture of amino acids, sugars, salts, and other substances that help to keep the skin hydrated and supple. As we age, the NMF naturally weakens, and environmental factors like pollution and harsh exfoliation can damage it, leading to dryness, sensitivity, and other issues.

Another important component of the skin's barrier is the Acid Mantle, which is a thin layer of dead skin cells, oils, and other secretions that helps to protect the skin from external threats like bacteria and viruses. The Acid Mantle also helps to maintain the skin's optimal pH level, which is essential for preventing dehydration and other problems.
Finally, the skin's Microbiome is a complex ecosystem of microorganisms that live on its surface, including bacteria, viruses, and fungi. This microbiome plays a vital role in protecting the skin and supporting the immune system. Together, these components work to keep the skin healthy, hydrated, and protected from harm

Oskia Rest Day Comfort Cream encourages the skin to rest and recuperate, promoting a healthy microbiome and preventing trans-epidermal water loss. With a bio-mimetic nutri-barrier complex, this cream helps to hydrate and condition the skin, while also promoting a healthy skin microbiome. Key ingredients like trehalose, polyglutamic acid, and hyaluronic acid mimic and support the skin's natural moisturizing factors, while oat ceramides and probiotics help to prevent dryness and support the skin's barrier function. Additionally, spirulina platensis extract and vitamin E provide antioxidant protection, making this cream an essential part of any skincare routine.

With a pH of 5-5.5, it's designed to mimic the skin's ideal pH and support the acid mantle for optimal skin health.

Oskia Rest Day Comfort Cream is a staple and beneficial hydrator for all skin types and ages.

Oskia Skincare sets itself apart through its commitment to responsible skincare products designed to be gentle yet effective. Founded by Georgie Cleeve, the company follows a philosophy of blending nature and science in order to create luxurious, sustainable formulas that provide great results. Oskia's products are created with 98% recyclable packaging and keeping vegetarians in mind. Consequently, the products promise users radiant, healthy skin with each use.

Oskia Skincare is a leading skincare brand developed and created by a team of experts including nutritionists, cosmetic scientists and doctors. They are renowned for their award-winning innovative formulations that are bioavailable and effective.

All of their products, from their skin care to supplements, have been designed using biotechnology combined with cellular nutrients and advanced actives that are beneficial and gentle to both your skin and the environment. Plus, all the items come in 98% recyclable packaging making them vegetarian-friendly!

Oskia Skincare uses MSM, short for Methylsulphonylmethane, as its main active ingredient. Nicknamed the 'beauty mineral' due to its many benefitting properties to the skin, MSM helps reduce inflammation, stimulate collagen production, and enhance circulation for a brighter complexion.

In 2009, Georgie Cleeve founded Oskia with the revolutionary idea of nutrition-based skincare. One of their main active ingredients is MSM aka 'Beauty Mineral', a natural form of organic sulfur.

Georgie's father, who had introduced MSM to the market over thirty years ago for use as joint supplement for race horses, encouraged Georgie to try MSM to fix her cartilage damage caused by a skiing accident. Surprisingly, not only did this remedy improve her joint damage symptoms, but it also significantly improved her skin health, acne and eczema symptoms as well as improving the condition of her hair and nails.

Oskia Skincare began as an idea focused on harnessing the power of minerals to benefit skin health. This concept evolved over three years of research and development into a skincare brand that is unique in its use of nutrition and bioavailable nutrients like minerals, vitamins, proteins, and essential fatty acids.

Their team of internationally recognized skincare experts and nutritionists from the UK have dedicated over 10 years perfecting their formulations which are made in their own Monmouth factory and lab. With Oskia, you won't just feel the results instantly, but sustainably.
