Description

The Oskia Rest Day Barrier Balm is a versatile, nourishing balm that is perfect for dry, damaged, or stressed skin. Its non-greasy formula is enriched with Colloidal Oats and Micro-Algae, Lupin Seed Extract, and a Bio-Mimetic Nutri-Barrier Complex.

Oskia Rest Day Barrier Repair Balm provides intensive barrier and microbiome support. Formulated with nourishing vitamins and Omega 6, this balm helps to restore the skin’s natural balance while protecting it against environmental stressors. With its melting texture and comforting texture, this balm provides long-lasting hydration while leaving your skin feeling soft and nourished.

Oskia Rest Day Barrier Repair Balm is a fast acting and rapid solution for dry or damaged skin that needs replenishment and barrier protection. Use this balm alone on damp skin or pair with a mist, serum or moisturizer for superior results.

The Bio-Mimetic Nutri-Barrier Complex, which includes Amino Acids, Fermented Minerals, Pro-Vitamins D3 & B5, Polyglutamic & Hyaluronic Acids, works together to provide deep hydration and support skin health. Colloidal Oats, Echium, Allantoin, Spilanthol, Horse Chestnut, Bisabolol & MSM are added to soothe and calm the skin. Oat Ceramides, Lupin Seed, Probiotics, oils of Evening Primrose & Calendula work together to support the skin's barrier function, preventing water loss and promoting a healthy skin microbiome. Gardenia & Vitamin E provide antioxidant protection to keep the skin looking youthful and radiant.

Oskia Rest Day Barrier Repair Balm contains no added fragrance. Not suitable for vegans - contains Pro-Vitamin D3 sourced from lanolin.

The Oskia Rest Day Barrier Repair Balm is designed to protect and repair the skin's barrier, which is made up of several important components. One of these is the Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF), a complex mixture of amino acids, sugars, and other substances that work together to keep the skin hydrated and supple. However, the NMF can be weakened by age and environmental factors such as harsh exfoliation and pollution, leading to dryness, sensitivity, and other issues.

Oskia Rest Day Barrier Repair Balm is also formulated to protect another important component of the skin's barrier is the Acid Mantle. This is a protective layer made up of dead skin cells, oils, and other secretions that helps maintain a slightly acidic pH and protects against pathogens and dehydration.
Finally, Oskia Rest Day Barrier Repair Balm protects and supports the Skin Microbiome. The Microbiome is a complex ecosystem of microorganisms that live on the skin's surface and play a vital role in the immune system.

Oskia Rest Day Barrier Repair Balm is a powerful skincare product that uses a Bio-Mimetic Nutri-Barrier Complex to deeply hydrate and support skin health. This complex includes a range of beneficial ingredients, such as Amino Acids, Fermented Minerals, Pro-Vitamins D3 & B5, Polyglutamic & Hyaluronic Acids, which work together to provide optimal hydration and nourishment.

Additionally, the balm contains a range of soothing and calming ingredients, including Colloidal Oats, Echium, Allantoin, Spilanthol, Horse Chestnut, Bisabolol & MSM, which help to reduce inflammation and irritation. The balm also contains Oat Ceramides, Lupin Seed, Probiotics, oils of Evening Primrose & Calendula, which work together to support the skin's barrier function, preventing water loss and promoting a healthy skin microbiome.

Finally, Gardenia & Vitamin E provide antioxidant protection to keep the skin looking youthful and radiant.

Oskia Skincare is dedicated to providing gentle and effective skincare solutions using organic ingredients and advanced modern technology. Founded by Georgie Cleeve and her team, the company embraces a philosophy of uniting nature with science for a sustainable future, thus their products are comprised of 98% recyclable packaging, as well as being catered to vegetarians. Oskia prides itself in creating luxurious formulas that promise to make your skin look more radiant and healthy.

Oskia Skincare is a leading skincare brand developed and created by a team of experts including nutritionists, cosmetic scientists and doctors. They are renowned for their award-winning innovative formulations that are bioavailable and effective.

All of their products, from their skin care to supplements, have been designed using biotechnology combined with cellular nutrients and advanced actives that are beneficial and gentle to both your skin and the environment. Plus, all the items come in 98% recyclable packaging making them vegetarian-friendly!

Oskia Skincare uses MSM, short for Methylsulphonylmethane, as its main active ingredient. Nicknamed the 'beauty mineral' due to its many benefitting properties to the skin, MSM helps reduce inflammation, stimulate collagen production, and enhance circulation for a brighter complexion.

In 2009, Georgie Cleeve founded Oskia with the revolutionary idea of nutrition-based skincare. One of their main active ingredients is MSM aka 'Beauty Mineral', a natural form of organic sulfur.

Georgie's father, who had introduced MSM to the market over thirty years ago for use as joint supplement for race horses, encouraged Georgie to try MSM to fix her cartilage damage caused by a skiing accident. Surprisingly, not only did this remedy improve her joint damage symptoms, but it also significantly improved her skin health, acne and eczema symptoms as well as improving the condition of her hair and nails.

Oskia Skincare began as an idea focused on harnessing the power of minerals to benefit skin health. This concept evolved over three years of research and development into a skincare brand that is unique in its use of nutrition and bioavailable nutrients like minerals, vitamins, proteins, and essential fatty acids.

Their team of internationally recognized skincare experts and nutritionists from the UK have dedicated over 10 years perfecting their formulations which are made in their own Monmouth factory and lab. With Oskia, you won't just feel the results instantly, but sustainably.
